ABOUT JENNIFER
JENNIFER ALSEVER is an award-winning young adult author, screenwriter, a longtime national journalist, and mother of two young adult boys. She lives in the mountains of Colorado.
For more than two decades, Jennifer has contributed to such publications as Fortune Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Inc Magazine, Wired Magazine, and Fast Company.
In 2014, she turned to fiction and churned out the award-winning Trinity Forest Series: Ember Burning, Oshun Rising & Venus Shining. The supernatural thriller trilogy follows a girl who becomes entangled in a local forest teeming with urban legends of witchcraft and strange disappearances and must not only find herself but ultimately save the world.
In 2020, Jennifer rolled out Extraordinary Lies, a paranormal novel set in 1971 about teens who must fight for their lives after undergoing psychic testing at Stanford Research Institute. And in 2022, Jennifer released her fifth novel, Burying Eva Flores, after witnessing how social media was productizing young people and shifting how people viewed themselves and each other.
In 2024, Jennifer wrote the Bystander, a screenplay for a suspense drama feature film, and in early 2025, she will release her sixth book, an adult suspense novel titled “The Last Time I Knew You.”
She continues to write freelance journalism for Fast Company and Inc Magazine and produce content for business clients.
Jennifer is curious and people say she asks too many questions. She’s a yogi, reiki lover, a medium, a tree hugger, skier, hiker, mountain biker and helpless romantic who finally married her high school sweetheart. When not absorbed in writing, she talks to her sock-eating springer spaniel and many plants, and she enjoys coffee, indie music, watching birds, good friends, untouched snow, cozy blankets, yoga pants and her husband’s gourmet cooking.
She is always listening for the next story.
